Concrete work in this town
Chicago work is different from suburban work. Lots are narrow, access is through a gangway or an alley, and the concrete that needs replacing is usually the back stairs, the gangway walk or the apron between the garage and the alley.
We work mainly on the South Side and the near south suburbs, where we know the alley layouts and the permit routine. If a truck cannot reach the pour, we tell you at the visit and price the job accordingly rather than discovering it on the day.
What we see in Chicago
Access decides the job. Narrow gangways, shared alleys and parkway trees all change how the concrete gets in and how the old slab gets out. That is worked out before the quote, not after.
